Flower Seeds
My yard is fairly chaotic, new plants sprout up daily and it can be difficult to decipher which sprout is desirable or not. I’m sure I have pulled a few “wrong” sprouts over the years, but that’s okay, managing weeds and a garden is a never ending story. This year I wanted to try to add a few new flowers to the yard. Since I’ve never grown these varieties before and I don’t know what they look like when they’re young, I thought it would be fun to start them from seed first. Tending to the Indoor Garden
My birthday is on April 11th, and while I tend to shy away from making a big deal of the day, the one thing I do really like to do is take some time to tend to my indoor garden and treat myself to a new plant. In Chicago the weather is generally just starting to warm up, it’s a perfect time to begin moving my houseplants out to the back porch for their summer vacation.
